A Few of My Favorite Things.....

Hi friends and Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Our weekend was very calm and relaxing. The boys don't really like laying around the house but I got a few snuggles out of them this weekend!
So I've been thinking about sharing some of my absolute favorite beauty products and some of my  favorite fashion staples. I must admit it was a little hard to narrow my list down but I did. I felt like these were my absolute must haves! So here goes....
My all time favorite foundation brush from Real Techniques. This is their Expert face brush and it's only $9! I'm so happy I purchased this brush. Such a great brush and a very low price too.
I'm sure you've heard so many great things about Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. Well, it's all true! I've been using this Bronzer for about 6 months now and I will defiantly be buying a new one when I run out. (I just hit pan so it will be soon)
I'm not much of a lip stick kinda gal so I tend to wear more lip glosses. I'm loving this NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée. It's such a pretty pinky/nude color.
I've never loved a blush like I do this one. This is Maybeliline Blush in light Mauve. I'm obsessed.

My all time FAVORITE scarf. The Lenore Scarf from www.kikilarue.com
One of the most worn tops in my wardrobe is the La'Rue Essential top from Kiki La'Rue. I own 20, yes I said 20 different colors/styles. I guess you can say I'm obsessed?! Ha!

These Steve Madden Candence Boots are another favorite of mine. I purchased these last year and I'm so happy I did. I wear them all the time and they're so comfy!
Last, but certainly not least.... My Ready to Ride Moto Jacket is by far one of the purchases I'm most pleased with. I LOVE this jacket. Love the color, the fit, and the simple fact I don't feel like....fat guy in a little coat. (Cuz many leather jackets make me feel like that haha!)

What are some of your must haves? I would love to hear if you purchase any of these items and what you think about them. Thanks for stopping by. Xoxo -Jessica

My first swap

I was so excited to do my first swap! If you're not familiar with a "swap" I'll explain. It's sooo much fun and it's like Christmas! You and another person exchange items with each other. It can be anything ......Make up, crafts, nail polish, or house decor! Set a dollar amount with each other and maybe give a couple hints if you would like.
I've always wanted to do a swap! I see it all over blogs and YouTube. So I thought it was time for me to do one! I follow so many fun people on Instagram but one person stood out to me. It may have been her obsession with chevron or the fact she loves to do nails like me?! Whatever it was, I just knew we would have fun swapping goodies. I contacted her and instantly she was just as excited as I was. Following her is fun! We have a lot in common. You should follow her too! Denissa_sweetandsimplelife
Let the shopping begin! I had fun buying for her. I had her in mind (what I knew she liked from IG) as well as what I liked and wanted to share with her. We also challenged each other to a craft, which made it even more fun! Here is a list of the items I got for her........
eos lip balm
Hand sanitizer
My fave lip gloss from Revlon
The best blush from elf
Make up remover wipes (cuz who doesn't need those??)
"Chalkboard surface" labels
Scentsy pack in the scent Snowberry (my fave!!)
"Let it Snow" holiday decor
And last but not least, the craft I made for her. Her last name is Moore so I wanted to make a Christmas craft with her name some how. I came up with the saying " The MOORE the Merrier"
I had a ton of fun doing this! Funny thing is we got each other two of the (almost) same thing!

Here is the package I sent to her........

And my goodies from Denissa.....

My package from Denissa was perfect! So many of my favorite things. I love it all and can't wait to hear what she thinks of hers! Have you ever done a swap? If so, I would love to hear all about it!

OOTD: Playing Dress Up

My OOTD -
It's getting cold here so I decided to wear my long sleeve La'Rue Essential top in Taupe. I paired it with some teal skinnies from F21 and my Steve Madden Boots. Nelly had the Ready to Ride Moto Jacket on from Kiki La'Rue
And I had to throw it on as well ( I stole it from her)! I added a leopard scarf because I love bright colors with leopard. Love the way the jacket pulls the whole outfit together.

So I've been wanting to try all my new outfits on from Kiki La'Rue. Since Nelly was over I thought we could do a little photo shoot. Who wouldn't want to play dress up?!  We even had a little helper......
He did this all on his own! Hahaha cutie.

Can you say Bitch stole my look?! Haha well, actually I stole hers! Loved both her Ready To Ride Moto Jacket and Royal Blue long sleeve La'Rue Essential Top. We have the same style, it's crazy! Oh and BTW she's always taking my pictures so I thought it was time for her to take a pic! Gorg! We had fun taking all these pictures. She made me laugh the whole time. (She knows how picky I am too) I guess you can say we work well together. Ha!

I have a little confession to make.....

Happy Friday friends! Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We had a blast and this momma is enjoying some candy as I write this. Ha!
So I have a little confession. I've been laughing about this for a while now. My poor boys...... It has come to me having to take over their closet! Yep, I have way too many clothes and had to start putting my clothes in their closet. I can't help it. I have all my dresses in their closet because I ran out of room in my bedroom closet. I also got a closet rack from Target a few weeks back because I was starting to run out of room again. My husband says I have a problem! Hahaha I think maybe he's a little bit right. The rack from Target is all Kiki La'Rue and my closet in my room is a mixture of KLR and various other places. The section I stole out of the boys' closet is mainly all KLR dresses. Clearly I have an obsession with clothes. My husband has even thought of a way to build me a bigger closet in our already small room! Hahaha

Do you steal closet space from your kids? Please say I'm not the only one!
